Ramakrishna Vedanta Ashrama of Phoenix

A busy new schedule has begun for the 2011-2012 season at the Ramakrishna Vedanta Ashrama Phoenix.  The consensus is that the present location in Tempe is a good one for the future, but that the present building is much too small to house all the activities.  Therefore the Board of Directors with the support of Revered Swami Swahanandaji are investigating the purchase of the plot of land next to the Ashrama, on the corner of Henry and Rose Streets.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME PART OF A CORE GROUP OF REGULAR DONORS COMMITTED TO BRINGING SRI RAMAKRISHNA'S TEACHINGS TO THE PHOENIX AREA, PLEASE CONTACT US INDICATING HOW MUCH YOU CAN COMMIT TO DONATE EACH MONTH OR YEAR.  IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE PRESENT ASHRAMA AT ABOUT $700/MO AND PAY ABOUT $470.00/MO FOR A 10 YR EQUITY MORTGAGE FOR THE LAND, WE NEED AT TOTAL OF $1170/MO.  OUR GOAL IS TO HAVE 24 FAMILIES/ INDIVIDUALS GIVING $50/MO (TOTAL OF $1200/MO).    Any amount by the grace of Sri Ramakrishna is always welcomed!

Once this goal is accomplished, we can then revise our building plans to include the land next door, which will help provide needed parking space, as well as extra building and landscaping space.  This will all take some time to accomplish and we may want to make some modifications to the present building in order to provide a little more space.    

Ramakrishna Vedanta Ashrama Phoenix is an operating center of Ramakrishna Ashrama (California based) tax exempt 501(C) (3) non-profit organization.  All donations are tax deductible and the TIN#20-5969417 is for both.   When you make a donation, write the TIN# and "Ramakrishna Vedanta Ashrama Phx" on your receipts for the records.   

YOUR OPTIONS FOR METHODS OF PAYMENT:

(1) Use your credit/debit card or PayPal on our website’s secure "Blackbaud Now" DONATIONS PAGE (4.95%+$.30 per transaction charges).  Click the Donations section on the right side; then click the  www.vedantaphx.bbnow.org link, fill out info needed, skip PayPal application if not interested, click "Agree & Continue," click "Pay Now."  You will receive an electronic email receipt.

(2) To make monthly recurring donations, email:  donations@vedantaphx.org .  Indicate the fixed amount you want to give using your credit/debit card or PayPal.  Receive an electronic email receipt.  

(3) Write a check to Ramakrishna Vedanta AshramaPhoenix& get a snail-mail receipt (no charges).

(4) If you have a Chase Bank account you can transfer money to the Ashrama Chase Account by "Chase Person-to-Person Quick Pay" by email.  Call us for more info (no charge).

(5) If you have another bank, inquire how they make transfers to other banks, for example, on a monthly basis (normally no charge).  Please call the Ashrama for more info.
